Check out Information:

Units are to be cleaned prior to departure. All check out cleaning should include the complete kitchen range, oven, burner area, floors and bathroom(s).
Rentals of six months or more are required to have the carpets professionally cleaned by Robert of C&B Carpet at 988-6374. Please call in advance to meet your requirements.

  1. Check out time is noon on the date of departure. Clients desiring a late PM departure later than 2 PM are required to book an additional day.
  2. All laundry is to be completed prior to departure. Wash sheets and towels separately. Insure that all towels are dried properly before folding and storing in linene closet. The lint screen inside the dryer should be cleaned after each load. Any exterior filters should also be checked and cleaned. Most dryers work better when the lanai door is partially open and the bedroom door is closed which forces more air through the exhause hose. The dryer will not function efficiently if it has to pull air from a sealed unit with the air conditioner running.
  3. Beds are to be made up with clean and fresh linen.
  4. Insure that no soiled linens are left in the hide-a-bed (if available in the unit).
  5. Vacuum the entire unit (including non-carpet floors). If there are not replacement vacuum cleaner bags, please advise the rental agent and provide the make and model number or bag type.
  6. Close all windows and draperies.
  7. Cleaning supplies in the unit are a convenience. Please replace what you use.
  8. Clean out the refrigerator of all perishable food. Wipe out vegetable bins and refill ice trays. Do not turn off the refrigerator.
  9. Discard all paper and plastic bags except ones for lining the waste baskets after all trash has been properly disposed of.
  10. Lock lanai door. If lanai door does not lock, report same to the rental agent.
  11. Turn off television, VCR and/or cable box as applicable. Unplug any small appliances such as toaster or coffee maker (not microwave).
  12. Complete a change of address card for the Waikiki Postmaster if you have been using this condominium as a permanent or temporary address for 30 days or more.
  13. A Tenant Information manual is provided within each unit with house rules and general instructions.
  14. Insure that your rental agent has your home address or forwarding address for your refund of security deposit due upon receipt of final phone bills for the period of your stay. If you have your own phone, refurnd is due withing fourteen (14) days.
  15. call rental agent at 351-0775 and arrange for check out. Both sets of keys and garage genie (if applicable) are to be left on the kitchen counter unless otherwise instructed. Office of Earl Thacker, Ltd. has a key drop slot in the office door during weekday working hours at 1833 Kalakaua Avenue, Suite #609.
